Investment Strategy In June 2000 Taconic acquired the property from Federated Department Stores who operated a Macy's Department Store on the ground floor and lower level of the building until June 2003. Taconic's $24 million capital improvement program included lobby and common corridor renovations, vertical transportation, increased power, back up generators and additional fiber connectivity. This transformation resulted in a first class office/telecom building and one of the most technologically advanced buildings in Atlanta.
