Mr. Weir oversees all commercial and residential construction from the initial stages of design and planning to the implementation of capital improvements.

Mr. Weir has extensive experience in real estate acquisition, development, finance and portfolio management in both the U.S. and the U. K. Prior to joining Taconic, he was a managing director at Halpern Real Estate Development, responsible for converting a 65-acre commercial office park into a commercial condominium, including its subsequent successful leasing and sales campaign. Earlier, Mr. Weir served as president of London-based Greycoat, where he oversaw the firm's entry into the U.S. real estate market and led development and construction of 1.5 million square feet of commercial space in New York City and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Weir is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and holds a real estate management degree from Dundee College of Technology, in his native Scotland.
