 Martin J. Rabinowitz Position: Principal Email: mrabinowitz@tacon.com Mr. Rabinowitz joined Taconic as a principal in April 1998. He is active in acquisitions, equity partner relationships, transaction structure and legal oversight. He shares responsibility with the co-chief executive officers regarding acquisitions and important capital transactions. Prior to joining Taconic, Mr. Rabinowitz formed Reckson Opportunity Partners with real estate owner and operator Reckson Associates and Mr. Jon Halpern, then of Halpern Real Estate Development. As co-managing partner of that venture, Mr. Rabinowitz helped develop three successful real estate telecommunications and real estate service entities, most of which have since been acquired by Reckson Associates and affiliates. Before that, Mr. Rabinowitz served as general partner at New York-based hedge fund Odyssey Partners L.P., where he led the firm's real estate investment group. Mr. Rabinowitz has more than 25 years experience as a tax lawyer, with a strong emphasis on structuring real estate transactions for major developers and corporations.
