 Sophia R. Gushee Position: Vice President - Investor Relations Email: sgushee@tacon.com Ms. Gushee joined Taconic in March 2008. Ms. Gushee works closely with the co-chief executive officers in investor reporting for all investments. Ms. Gushee has almost 10 years of work experience in various aspects of the private equity and venture capital arena. For the four years immediately prior to joining Taconic in 2008, Ms. Gushee was a Vice President at ING Clarion, a national real estate advisory firm, where she led and executed the workouts of securitized debt that were collateralized by commercial real estate and multifamily properties. From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Gushee worked in real estate acquisitions at Lexington Corporate Properties, a publicly-traded real estate investment trust, and then later at DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, a real estate opportunity fund, which later became part of Credit Suisse First Boston. In addition, from 1999 to 2001, Ms. Gushee worked in marketing and corporate development at two technology firms that were financed by venture capital funds such as Goldman Sachs & Co., DLJ, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Ms. Gushee earned her Master of Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Brown University. |
